TYPICAL TRAINING ROUTINE ASSOCIATED WITH ANTI-AGING THERAPY By Cruz Rios, BS, CPT.
Training to lose body fat and to gain lean muscle mass simultaneously can be accomplished far beyond your belief by the interaction of exercise using a combination of free weights, machines, calisthenics and aerobics with the anti-aging therapy. This involves training with a trainer three times a week (3 x wk) minimum, anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. During these 3 weekly hours your entire body will be worked out. For example: Mondays – Chest and triceps Wednesdays – Back and Biceps Fridays – Shoulders and legs Nutrition is also another fundamental key which unfortunately, for most people it is by far the worst to be followed. Although, as your trainer I’m NOT authorized to tell you what to eat and how much to eat, I can tell you some very basic rules that when employed correctly can enhance your chances to succeed: · Eat small meals throughout the day. Don’t wait until you are hungry to eat. · Please, don’t skip breakfast. · As the end of the day approaches around 4:00PM, try to limit your carbohydrate intake. · Stay away from junk food (empty calories), dressings. · Too much alcohol is bad for you. · Drink lots of water. · Limit fruits, starches, try to avoid processed foods and fried foods, try to prepare your meals. · Eat fresh vegetables, salads, lots of fish, lean beef and lean chicken. · Create a variety in your plan. · Avoid sweets, (desserts). Please use moderation and common sense. In order for this routine to be done effectively and for results to be seen FAST it’s necessary to train using proper form, proper intensity, proper breathing techniques, moderate to heavy weights, and the muscles needs to feel a good amount of exhaustion. But remember, consistency and patience are fundamental keys to success. Interacting the training system mentioned above with AAT (Anti aging-therapy) will result in tremendous accomplishments sometimes more than 4 times compared to not doing the therapy. The treatment itself is determined after your blood has been drawn and a complete profile is completed. With results in hand, Dr. Suarez, MD (Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine) will then sit with you and explain what your deficiencies are and what your needs are. In order words, he will let you know what’s going on with you from inside out. In most cases, the treatment will begin with prescribed hormone replacement therapy, (HGH & Testosterone) plus supplements such as DHEA, Folic Acid, Fish Oil, Multivitamins, Ecotrin, Andro-gel and Trans-D Tropin. Weekly and monthly follow ups with Dr. Suarez will dictate how the therapy is working for you and what areas need to be adjusted for maximum RESULTS. This means, you are being medically supervised during the therapy. (NO risks have been associated with this treatment according to various reports from studies across the country). The key is to exercise a minimum of three times a week using the concept above and the therapy simultaneously. Do that, and you will be on your way to be on the “BEST SHAPE OF YOUR LIFE” looking younger, feeling younger, stronger, and leaner among other physiologic changes.
